    Hi wekjo,
I suspect of the hot High Beam wire because the bulb is sealed and share the same ground to Low and High Beam, then the ground level is inside the sealed bulb. When I check the voltage with the tester I can read 8V (should be 12V) between the hot wire and ground but the high beam doesn't light up. Any idea before to disassemble the complete wire harness?

I would start by checking the ground wire on the high beam socket. if the right side is working and that bulb works OK on the right side, then your socket or the ground wire is where i would suspect the problem to be.

Right low beam not working left side ok.

How did you test the bulb? A lot of modern vehicles use 'twin element' bulbs so you can still get a 'good' reading on a blown bulb if you only testing one element.. If you still have high beam but no low beam it is most likely the bulb or a short somewhere in the wiring.

Right side high beams not working 2000 Jeep wrangler

Is the bulb ok? The red wire with orange tracer is voltage for hi beam, on both sides. As you can see voltage for hi beam right side comes from left headlamp connector. I use a test light, headlamps on, check for voltage on red wire with orange tracer. I don't believe problem is ground, black wire or the lo beams wouldn't work, either.

Right side low beam not working. High beam works

Is the filament inside the bulb broken?
If so, the low beam is burned out.

Try swapping with the left bulb (assuming it works ok) and see if the right side works correctly.

If so, replace the burned out bulb.

Hello, I have a headlight problem on a 2004 chey calvalier. All of my lights work except low beam on drivers side. Fuses on left and right headlights are good. I've switched bulbs as well and nothing...

I would focus on the connections going to that head light for the low beam. I agree, it is not the switch, otherwise other side low beam would not be working. It is most likely bad bulb inlet( if it i separated bulbs for high and low) or it is the connection going to the low beam that operates it. Hope this helps. Don't waste your time on switch, it is not that.

Left high beam does not work. Fuse and bulb are fine.

Hello and welcome to FixYa!

Please try this. Transfer the right side high beam bulb to the left. After that, turn on the high beam and observe if the left side will respond. If it does respond then the problem will be on the bulb itself.

If the problem still persists then the problem can be just on the bulb connector. If the bulb connector is worn out, the bulb tends to operate.

I strongly suggest that you replace the bulb and bulb sockets if found out faulty to resolve the issue.

Hope this helps and thank you for using FixYa! Have a good one!

I have replaced both headlight bulbs(bulb number 9007), high beams work just fine, the low beam on the right side still does not work?

Hello butterisi: My name is Roger and I Will help you. I would look in the fuse box under the hood Specifically fuse 13. This is the fuse for the right low beam headlight. If ok I would suspect the multi function switch. Which is also the turn signal switch. Should you need further help please just ask. Please rate the answer. Thank You for using Fix Ya. Roger

2000 Maxima Low-Beam not working - Bulb OK.

There is a fuse for left and right headlamps on most Nissans check them all. If you don't find that to be the case you can run a new wire from right low beam to left low beam.
