Get to an automatic transmission shop that has a good reputation and have them do a thorough transmission evaluation. Be prepared for the possibility of an expensive repair.
Plymouth Voyagers are famous for weak transmissions. When visiting a transmission shop a couple of years ago,  I noticed 6 out of 10 vehicles on the hoists were Dodge/Chrysler vans.
This is not to say it will always be an expensive repair, but definitely get it in to be tested before more damage is done.

I have a eclipse 96 I tried to repair the

did you change fluid and filter this is just as important as an engine oil change. also a automatic transmission has things called bands that change the gears and hold overdrive in they also need adjusting every 30,000 miles. if not they will cause your transm, ission to slip. and burn up atf fluid.

98 toyota camry transmission service.

You can drain and fill your trans. It will take 2.5 -3.0 quarts of DEX III trans fluid....goes in the fill tube. Or you can get said transmission flushed which changes all fluid including torque converter.....about 15 quarts. Way more thorough.

You need to use Hyundai Diamond ATF SP-II M or any fluid which lists compatible. I recommend Hyundai brand fluid but aftermarket is ok. The listing would be on the bottle. Do no use Dextron / Mercon fluids.

please rate my anwers.
