Yes Auto zone have loaner crankshaft pulley extractor
better know as harmonic valancer puller.
you pay a deposit and when you bring it back the refund your money
do not use a bicycle chain like tool because that will damage your pulley. unless you are planing to install a brand new one.
there is a rubber ring in between the outer and inner part of the pulley than can be real easily damage.
you can temporary float one cylinder whit gasoline and cap it of whit the spark plug that will lock the engine temporarily when you have to turn the crankshaft bolt.
when you are done just remove the spark plug and turn the crankshaft to drain out the gasoline and unlock the engine.

SOURCE: Automatic Honda civic wont reverse

take it back. They missed something. You should have a warranty on the work. Of course that does have limits which include both mileage driven and months since the vehicle was released to you. I am guessing you did not do the work since your saying you had it done. There really isn't much you can do other than have it taken apart and checked. So long as your TCM (transmission control module is not bad= computer for transmission)

I'd like to rebuild transmission with a few new parts plus need blueprint on how to assemble it and will also need gasket etc. Can you help?

look online or some auto stores not all carry transmission rebuilt kits the kits run about 450 and up check with the kits if they come with a rebuild manual (most rebuild manuals about $45 -70) if it does not come with kit also will need some special tools which can be bought or some auto places rent ---biggest hurdle to start with will be the removal of the transmission

I am working on a 2005 Nissan murano passenger side cv joint axle removal. I have taken out the three bolts that hold the shaft into the transmission. I can not get the shaft out. Please help

Ok, go to your local auto parts store, rent an axle puller, or you can try a prybar.
The axle puller is a safer way to go. It looks like a dent puller or slap hammer.
Good Luck

Diagram of how to change a water pump for a 1997 mustang v6

On the 97 V6 you'll also need a puller to remove the power steering pulley as this bolts to the water pump housing. This is unusual. Doing this now actually. You can rent the "puller" at autozone. Remember to disconnect the battery and drain the coolant before you get started. The rest is in the Haynes. It'll take time, but its not a hard job with the right tools.

Ok got the retaining bolt off of harmonic balancer by using a breaking bar now using a 3 prong gear puller to remove balancer but it just dont want to budge.any suggestions

you may have the wrong puller to do the job. suggest you try an advance auto parts store and rent the right puller for the repair, all your money to rent the right tool will be refunded after the tools returned. the harmonic balancer should be removed easily with the right removal tool and a small ammount of wd40 sprayed onto the crankshaft behind and in front of the balancer onto the shaft. keep in mind that there is a half moon keeper key on the shaft where the balancer slides onto the crankshaft. lube the shaft well and it should slide off with ease with the removal tool. thank you for choosing!!

The pulley on the crank shaft that drives the alternator and A/C belt broke and I need to know how to remove and replace broken pulley.

You may need a pulley puller. Though this seems like a smart assed comment, it is the truth. They are ususally available to rent from your local parts store.

Rack &pinion

I wouldn't recommend this unless you have to. But if you do, just unscrew everything and do it slowly. The steering wheel needs a puller to remove. You need to rent/buy the tool from car part store. Then just keep unbolting. The better questions is why do you have to remove column.
hope this helps.
