Question about 1994 Toyota Camry
Hi i am trying to install a new axle on my 1994 camry driver side but can not get the axle to go in all the way, i tried knocking it in but still the same is there a certain way of puting this axle back in? if so your imput is greatly aprecaited thank you, the old one was really bad when i took it out it came apart, so i dont know it there could be any damage to the splings just tought i might add that.
The old seal may be stopping you.
you must hold axle straight in line it will slide easily in to a point at which you must give a good hard push to seat the axle.
Do whatever you can to verify the shaft is the correct one, and that the internal parts are free of metal shavings use break clean, rags and a magnet.
Apply correct oil or grease to axle prior to installation and install a new seal.
