Depends on nature and severity of accident. If you have access suggest reset through obd port-works sometimes. Otherwise good auto electrician - cheaper in the long run.

Hi l've checked the fuel switch as u advice but still my car is not starting l also checked the fuel system plz help me 2005 ford bantam rocam engine l hit the pot hole then car just cut off and

Try spraying a shot of wd40 into a couple of the spark plug holes, reinstall plugs and wires and try again. The wd40 will allow the vehicle to start if there is spark. Check your coil pack connections.
Was anything torn off when you hit the pot hole?

Can you check if there is spark since you verified fuel ? please let me know. A car needs fuel (wd40) and spark to run.

When car wont start and have a good better what

One of the simple things is the Inertia switch. Usually it is located in the trunk and it cuts off the power to your fuel pump. You press the button on top for about 3 seconds and then try to start your car. It can trip accidently if the trunk or doors are slammed enough to vibrate the switch.

If this does not help you want to see if you have spark. Pull a wire from a plug and lay it near a ground and see or hear if the spark is jumping.
If you have spark and you have fuel notice if the check engine light is on when the engine is cranking.

If you can get a gauge from Autozone or Oreilys with a loan deposit, you can take the gauge home and plug it onto your car. Then get the readings and ask Autozone what you need. Or if you do get it running, take it to those places and get a free scan.

Car wont start

check to see if you have an inertia switch or fuel cutoff switch, usually they are mounted in the trunk, when the car gets stopped suddenly, the switch might mistake that for an accident and cut fuel untill the switch is reset

Fuel pump not working

There is a starter relay that will cut fuel of if the vehicle is not getting spark. Do you have spark at the plugs? If so there is also a fuel cut off relay that is in the trunk of car. You just have to push this to reset it. The one in the trunk is for safety and is pretty common for it to shut fuel off because it thinks the car has been in an accident. I would start with the trunk relay first because I have seen them activate at wierd times( big hills, bumpy roads, and hitting curbs).

My car cranks over but wont start

Check for a reset switch located in the trunk of most cars. Many cars have a small cover and the switch is under the cover. This switch is for the purpose of cutting off the fuel in case of an accident. If you see a red bitton sticking up, press it to reset the fuel pump.
