Theres probably a leak in your AC coil, get it recharged or if you want tell them the problem and they will probably put the coil under pressure with some leak dye in it and theyll use a black light to find the leak if there is one, most AC leaks take a whole summer to leak out completely so if your broke you could just get it recharged every summer, but if your a do-it-right person then get it fixed!

I have a 2000 pontiac grand prix with a digital climate control system. The heat quit working, it doesn't blow out any heat. Now that it is warm outside the air stopped blowing out any air. The digital temperature on the climate control is not correct. When it states that it is below 30 degrees on the ext and it is warm outside the air wont be cold. Once it starts going above 30 degrees the air gets colder. Today the blower stop working all together. Was told it maybe the climate control unit was bad. You can hear the door opening/shutting when you switch the temp from cold to hot. But there was no heat blowing out whatsoever in the winter time. Could you please give me your opinion on whether or not it is the climate control unit or something else?

Temp control on cold, but, only blowing hot air and the blower switch stays on high all the time, even if you try and surn to a lower spped or off, still blowing, what is the problem?

as far as the fan goes thats a reley switch and if you have it on cold and it blows hot air it sounds like the door that alows it to change from hot to cold is stuck that happens alot

A/C blows hot air even though the lines are ice cold

When your A/C is on the supplie of hot water to your heater core is cut off.For some reason this is not happening. It could be your heater control switch(red/blue...hot/cold)is not working,or your mixing valve that adjusts the amount of hot water that is suppied to the heater core is stuck open.

Ac vent problem

Damper/flap for driver's side is probably stuck. Try moving the selector from cold to hot several times. Also, move the recirc/outside air control if the previous doesn't work.

Blowing hot air all the time

There is a door that opens to the heater core. When the vacum control in the dash gets old the diaphram gets to flimsy to close one port so it puts vacum to all ports. Therefore there is not enough pull to engage the vacum motor to move the trap door.Change the switch in the dash. Check to make sure that there isn't an obstructing object in front of the door before you buy a new switch
