If you purchased an installation kit it should include universal mounting brackets. Perhaps you do not have an installation kit for installing your new stereo in your Accord. The kits are designed for installation of certain stereos in an Accord; not every model

Yes But check out J.C. Whitney for aftermarket kits or some suppliers for kits for antique vehicles.

The add-on kits would hang under the dash as an independent unit. With the stock set-up you have to have freon lines inside the dash ductwork. Then a change of function switches for the dash.

When you use the A/C, you need an idle stepup Solenoid which increases the idle so you do not stall. An aftermarket upgrade probably has this part included in the kit.

You will need the mounting brackets for the A/C compressor, but you could do well in a Salvage yard getting all the brackets with the used compressor. Remember that the crank pulley may need a wider pulley for the extra belt on the A/C. The kit should have it.

I hope my solution is helpful.

Diagram on how to remove and install a spider fuel injector core on a 1994 chevy blazer s10

Here is the removal procedure, and the procedure is the same for both the V-6 and the V-8 Vortec engines. Also, be certain to put engine oil on the "o"-ring seal for the fuel injector assembly before installing the upper intake. Let me know if you require any further assistance.

REMOVAL:

1. Disconnect the battery negative cable assembly from the battery negative terminal.

2. Remove the air cleaner assembly.

3. Remove the wiring harness connectors and the brackets and move aside.

4. Remove the throttle cable and the bracket from the upper intake manifold.

5. Remove the cruise control cable, (if equipped).

6. Remove the fuel lines from the intake to the rear of the block.

7. Remove the ignition coil and the bracket.

8. Remove the upper intake manifold.

INSTALLATION:

1. Install the upper intake manifold gasket.

2. Install the upper intake manifold. Use care not to pinch the injector lines between the upper and lower intake manifolds.

3. Install the upper intake manifold bolts. Note the marks made at disassembly for proper stud location. Install the two corner studs first in order to help align the two halves. NOTE: Other than the two torque passes listed below, the OE Manufacturer did NOT address or supply a bolt tightening sequence for the upper Intake Manifold for this model year, or other model years where this 2 piece manifold setup is used. A "Play It Safe" final tightening sequence would be to tighten from the center most bolts to the outer most bolts.

4. Tighten the bolts in two steps: a. Tighten the bolts on the first sequence to 5 Nm (44 inch lbs.). b. Tighten the bolts on the final sequence to 10 Nm (88 inch lbs.).

5. Install the purge solenoid and bracket.

6. Install the ignition coil and bracket.

7. Install the PCV hose et the upper intake manifold.

8. Install the fuel lines from the intake at the rear of the block.

9. Install the cruise control cable (if equipped).

10. Install the throttle cable and bracket from the upper intake manifold.

11. Install the wiring harness connectors and brackets.

12. Install the air cleaner assembly.

13. Connect the battery negative cable assembly to the battery negative terminal. - Tighten the bolt to 15 Nm (11 ft. lbs.).

Torque sequence for 1996 chevrolet van intake manifold with a 4.3 litre moter

Ha, you tried to fool me with the bit about a 3.5 L motor--I could find that one...here is the complete procedure from AutoZone.com:

Installation To install:
  1. Clean the gasket mounting surfaces. Be sure to inspect the manifold for warpage and/or cracks. If necessary, replace it.
  2. Position the gaskets on the cylinder head with the port blocking plates to the rear and the This Side Up stamps facing upward. Then apply a 3 / 16 in. (5mm) bead of RTV sealant on the front and rear of the engine block at the block-to-manifold mating surface. Extend the bead 1 / 2 in. (13mm) up each cylinder head to seal and retain the gaskets.

  5. Install transmission oil dipstick tube, if necessary.

Fuel supply and return lines to the rear of the lower intake
  6. Temporarily reattach the negative battery cable, then pressurize the fuel system (by cycling the ignition without starting the engine) and check for leaks.
  7. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  8. Install or connect the following:

Heater hose to the lower intake Upper radiator hose to the thermostat housing Distributor assembly and engage the wiring Ignition coil Connect vacuum hoses to the upper and lower intake manifold. New upper intake manifold gasket, making sure the green sealing lines are facing upward Upper intake manifold Manifold retainers. Tighten them to 88 inch lbs. (10 Nm) using two passes.
