All you have to do is open your passenger door and on the dash by the ac, there is a little hole where you can insert your car key and turn in where it will then turn the passenger airbag off. I have never had to remove anything to turn it off, all you have to do is turn in with your key!!!

You can only do this by removing the whole lot if you remove passenger you disable driver if thats ok you just disconnect the srs module which i think in a z4 its under the dash or possibly centre console

Have the same year and model and I have a circular button that says "passenger air bag" above the stick and next to the ashtray/change holder bit. It has a little key hole where you can toggle it on and off.

The 05 645bmw i believe has three fuse boxs location which one i should check for the airbag fuse and what fuse number?

There is no such thing as an airbag fuse. The airbag is run through the drive train module. If what you are trying to do is turn off the airbag on the passenger side, some vehicles such as my Toyota truck have a little key hole option where you can turn the airbag off. If you don't have that, you can remove the whole airbag out, however, disconnect the battery for at least 3 minutes first in order to avoid getting punched in the face.

Bmw service indicator reset

If its what I think it is, it will be the passenger occupied sensor that activates the passenger airbags when there is a passenger present. So if this is faulty you will get an indication on the dash (red light). Now this can be expensive to fix ( unsow seat, replace sensor blah blah blah) up to 1g. There is a cheeky way to bypass it so the airbags are always activated. Look on youtube for bmw passenger occupancy bypass. Good luck.

I have a light on that says passenger side airbag off? how do i resolve this problem? i drive a Bmw x3 oi

some x3 cars have a "lock" that you can turn off/on the airbag on the passenger side for a frontseat baby carrier.you might find it inside the glovebox or on the side of the dash.also some (that dont have the switch, but the previous owner has has had the bag disconnected by the dealer)may need to have a dealer reactivate the bag.(in England its inside the glovebox)

Where is the airbag sensor for BMW Z3 2.8l LOCATED???

Depending on which airbag sensor your after. There are 4 crash sensors on these. 2 in the doors for the side airbags, and the other 2 can be located underneath the bonnet. The sensors respond to the relevant airbag on the same side, i.e nearside sensor = passengers airbag, offside sensor = drivers airbag.

The main SRS control unit can be located underneath the centre console, thought ild add this in case you needed it!

Hope this helps!
