I have had the XG350L into the dealer about 5 times for an air bag warning light that stays on. When they have reset it without finding a problem it is a very tempory solution. The problem has been a loose connector twice and once they replaced a faulty side air bag. Is there any way that I can check the connectors without going to the dealer.
Not sure of the year of your car, but there was a recall to resecure the harness connector. If it is 2005 the entire airbag harness should be replaced, Sorry only the dealer can access the air bag info.
Tighten battery terminals tightly or get a lead terminal post cap and tighten the battery cable very tight. the air bag light triggers when you hit a bump or just have a lose connection to the battery. Same thing happened to me

I have a 97 Hyndai Tiburon with the same issue, airbag light will not come off and vehicle has not been in any sort of collision.
We have had our XG350 2004 in the dealer about 8 times since we bought it. They claim it is due to trash under the seat but never produce any trash that they found. They reset the alarm and it is good for about 6 weeks. Appears to occur when the drive seat is moved back for me since my wife is short. Does not occur right away. Sometimes is will flicker off and on for a day or too and then for no special reason it stays on solid then back to the dealer. What a pain!

I have a 2002 hyundai Sonata and have the same problem. It was fixed at least 6 times but now I just drive with the air bag light on all the time. I give up!!!
I have a 2004 XG350L and my air bag light has come on 8 time they tell me that I move the seat to much but it moves by it self when you put the emergy break on to get out of the car. my problem is when the warrenty is up who is going to fix the AIR BAG light I'm not going to pay for this it has been and on going problem from DAY ONE.......................
My wife and I have XG350s - 2002 & 2004. Both cars' Air Bag lights are ALWAYS on! I hate dealers and I will never go to them, but I'd like to find out if our air bags need service of some kind or if it is just a glitch in my/our electrical systems. From all of the comments here, it seems like it is. Any help?
is it possible to reset the light without dealer tool the seat was removed to replace the carpet now the light stays on
