Question about 1995 Ford Aspire
The a/c unit was working beautifully this morning. I have always heard a clicking when the a/c unit engages, now there is nothing and it only blows hot air. Is there a fuse or a belt that may need to be replaced? If there is a fuse, where would it be located?
Hi there is a belt that drives the air conditioning compressor it rides on a pulley as does the altenator visually inspect the pullies to make shure there is no belts missing if so replace now there is a relay that engages the compressor and also there is a low pressure switch that determines if there is sufficiant gas pressure in the system if the pressure has dropped re leak in the cooling system then you have no pressure to turn on compressor this would let the air conditioning to not work first check to see if you have airconditioning system pressure by looking into glass sight lens if lense is green its got enough pressure if its not green you need to replace gas inside cooling system good luck with project and keep cool
