Question about 1998 Ford Expedition
My Expedition stating misfiring yesterday and the check engine light started blinking. I went to Auto Zone and had a dynogistic test ran on it and it said that the #4 cyclinder had a misfire and the EGR system had too little flow.
Please advise where the location of the #4 cyclinder is located and please advise what needs to be done to correct this.
Number 4 cylinder is the 2nd cylinder back on the driver side. Check to see if your EGR valve is clogged with carbon. If it is, clean it out and I like to remove the EGR tube from the exhaust to valve and clean it out as well. The EGR tube is a metal tube. Remove the spark plug and see if it's been firing. How long has it been since it's had a set of plugs and wires?
