How do check and fill the transmission fluid ?

Text based help and videos. The best way is to measure what comes out and replace the same quantity. If it has a manual dipstick, you can fill by level once it has warmed up, then turned off and settled.

1999 Isuzu Troopers w/automatic transmissions do not come with a dipstick. It is a sealed transmission just like a manual transmission. The fluid must be checked by removing the fill plug. Emergency brake on, engine running,warmed up ,vehicle in neutral. When removing the fill plug ,which is on the side of transmission- at the top, fluid should slightly drip out. If fluid doesnt drip out you need to add fluid. You will need a small hand pump to fill it.

Depends on your engine.

there is a screw on the side of the transmission. You will need to unscrew this to fill the transmission up with fluid. You will need a pump to pump the fluid into it, also you should check it after opening it stick your finger into the hole and see if you can feel any fluid, tranny should be filled to the point of being able to feel the fluid through the fill hole/w finger. Also check your owners manual to find proper transmission fluid to put in the car, Wrong fluid can damage your transmission causing breakage or transmission to never work again.
