Could be the slave cylinder or clutch plate. Check ur bell housing and see if your fluid level is low. You can put clutch fluid in the housing 3/4 of the way full. Pump your clutch a couple of times to get fluid in the lines. You can do this a couple of times, but after a week or so you NEED to replace your clutch. You can get'em at your local parts store for about $150. You need to have a mechanic replace your clutch because it involves removing your transmission. total cost about $400 Same thing happened to me twice in 2 yrs. Make sure you get a lifetime warranty. Hope this was helpful

I have 2002 Chevy s10 with ac issues. All blend doors and actuators work properly. Clutch engages on compressor. Blows warm air when ac is on. When I put a guage on it the psI stays on max and doesn't...

Yes. When you turn on the compressor via clutch Suction line pressures at around 3000 rpm should be around 30 PSI. If pressure stays high it is because the compressor is running but it is not doing squat and needs replacement - bad reed valves.

How do I adjust the clutch on a 1988 S10?

I'm pretty sure on that truck the clutch is operated by a hydraulic master cylinder and a slave cylinder. If so there is no adjustment. What's it doing, why do you feel the need to adjust it?

NV3500 Problems shifting. 1998 s10.

It sounds as though either the throw out bearing or pressure plate are bad. The grinding makes me want to lean towards the pressure plate.

Clutch

You will have to remove the transmission and replace your clutch.

The throw out bearing has failed and needs to be replaced, along with your pressure plate and friction disk.

If you need further assistance let me know.
