Question about 2001 BMW 330
DID THE SCAN SAID FUEL CAP LOOSE STILL WONT GO OFF
Ok if light coming on saying there is a leak on the evap system
like code po442 or any close to that code that emans something in the evaporative system controler is leaking fuel vapor, and could be under the engine or under the car, it is some hoses than most of times have a green color plastic cap under the engine compartmet, follow the hoses and make sure nothing is disconected or crack or broken, if you can nto located the leak,
then call arround to auto repairs and ask them if they have a somke machine to lacate leaks at the evaporative system on your car, if they say yes then take it to them to locate the leak,
the way this smoke machine works is by aplying smoke to the lines and if any leaks found then the leak start pushing smoke aou at the leak so it can be fix,
one more thing, never fill the fuel tank with the car runing, that will turn your light on, not right at the moment but later on
