What are the head bolt specs for a 95 tercel


Hello proskater442: My name is Roger and I will help you. The cylinder head torques in two steps. Make sure all bolts are good before attempting to torque them Inspect for any broken or deformed threads. Replace any that are damaged. Torque specs for 1998 tercel 1.5L


Main Bearing Cap Torque-42 Ft. Lbs.
Head Bolts Step 1-33 Ft. Lbs. Step 2- Additional 90 Degrees
Rod Bearing Nuts-29 Ft. Lbs.

Need to find specks on cylingder head for 1996 toyota tercel


The cylinder head bolt torque is a 2 step process.

First: Torque all of the bolts to 45 Nm (450 Kgf-cm or 33 ft lbs.)
Replace any head bolt that will not torque to the above specs.

Second: after all ten bolts are torqued to the above specs, the head bolts are then "Torqued to Distance"...

Starting at the center bolts, retorque all ten bolts an additional 90 degrees.

The head bolt torque is 48ft. pounds and the camshaft bolts are 16ft. pounds thats for a 1.5L S.O.H.C motor.

Manifold gasket replacement -- 1983 Toyota Tercel


remove the exhaust manifold with a 14mm. socket and pull off old gasket, may have to be scraped, install new and torque bolts to 33 FT. LBS......... same with intake manifold but 10mm. and 12 FT. LBS of torque and drain coolant.
