The throttle position sensor is located on the throttle body and has a 3 wire connector. The wire colors are gray, blue, and black.Hope this helps.Good luck.
It is also called a throttle position sensor, It sends a signal to the computor to show the angle of the throttle plate, which also controls the fuel flow. It is located on the side of the throttle body, opposite side of where the throttle cable assembly is.Should be 2 screws or small bolts, and a wire connection.
look to see where the accelerator cable is and directly opposite thru the throttle body is the location. This is near where the air filter attatches to the motor
Follow from the Black plastic air box to the engine, this part will be the throttle body, the TPS is bolted to that (opposite side to where the gas pedal cable goes to)
locate the throttle body and on the side match your new T.P.S sensor, its usually held on by 2 screws, torx kind, so you might have to buy that screw driver since it is not common. remove and disconnect the old one and install. if its adjustable you need to set it, with a voltmeter. if its not just make sure it engages and slides in fine.
find the air filter and work your way towards the top of the engine. There will be a large black rubber hose that goes to an aluminum colored square shaped block with four bolts, one on each corner of the square shaped block. there will be a cable going to the throttle. on the opposite side of the cable will be the throttle position sensor with a plug in harness with two or three wires. The mass air-flow meter should be just behind the T.P.S.
did you check your starter bcuz your car has a seloniond on the starter you can try jumping the car and bypassing it but your best bet is to take your starter off and take to autozone or advance auto and see if its still any good and if it aint thats your problem
