I would go to a local salvage yard and take the OEM studs out of a saturn cylinder head there, if you go after market you have to worry about the size and width of the studs not to mention the correct thread pitch....

if you get the studs out of a salvage yard you take the risk of getting studs that are stretched your best option is to go to napa or autozone get new ones when the thread the block in the factory they use the same thread for all the blocks if you question the threads take a stud down with you to the auto parts place

How to replace exhaust manifold on 01 Saturn L200

Make sure your engine is stone cold.
Use a penetrating oil on each stud, be liberal with it. Let it soak in for 10 minutes.....then , using either a 6 sided wrench or 6 sided socket , unbolt each nut , don't worry if the stud, and not the nut turns. Do the same for the three nuts down at the collector end.

How to replace the oxygen sensor

There are two sensors, one on the exhaust manifold the other on the catalytic converter. The exhaust manifold is the easy one to replace, the other the car needs to be on a lift.

Changing the O2 sensor will improve you gas mileage,

I have oil leaking out of the exhaust manifold stud on my 2003 3.0 Saturn Vue. As crazy as this sounds I cleaned the whole area fully and when the motors starts you can see oil and bubbles coming around...

Apperently one of your gaskets has gone bad. Do you hear any exhaust noises, like ticking? I suspect the intake manifold gasket is leaking and the oil is running down to the stud.

How to remove 1993 starter in saturn

The saturn SL & SC engines 91-99 are essentially all the same, especially when it comes to the starter. It is on the back of the engine, under the intake manifold and over the exhaust and subframe components and is extremely difficult to get at. That is why there are so many questions on here about this same issue. If you do not have a lift, and a large selection of tools, this job is damn near impossible. Get a rebuilt starter at a parts store and pay a small shop to put it in for you. Keep away from dealers and chain muffler shops.

Oxygen sensor, where is it, how diffacult to replace?

It should be mounted in the exhaust manifold, towards the bottom of the exhaust manifold, it should have a wire coming out of it with a plug on it. You'll need a 7/8 inch wrench, or O2 sensor socket to remove. Try spraying some WD-40 where the sensor screws into the manifold to help remove the sensor. c5dc395.jpg

New motor cost

You won't find a new motor anywhere. The options are to get a used motor from a junkyard car or to rebuild your own or the junkyard one. If done yourself you can do it for $1,000. If you ask a mechanic or dealer to rebuild it hold onto your wallet as it will cost you at least $2,500, usually more than the car is worth.

My opinion is to get a used motor that runs and swap it in. They can be had for as little as $100 at most junkyards. Then just swap over. Remember to use the same motor (DOHC or SOHC) and the correct year. The '99 SL(1 or 2) is kind of a weird year as it was a transition from the 5 bolt head for the exhaust manifold and horizontal intake manifold to the 9 bolt head and vertical intake. Best bet is another '99 engine from the right SL level.
