Question about 2002 Mercury Mountaineer
I have changed my spark plugs but engine light is blinking and it is skipping and running rough any ideas anyone?
You may have a mass air flow sensor dirty or bad. It is mounted just past where the air filter goes. It does take a special security hex head screw driver to uninstall. But, mass air flow sensor sounds dirty or bad

You may have a bad coil---take a pair of rubber handle plyers & remove the spark plug wires 1 at a time---when you pull off a plug wire you should notic the truck runs even worse---the one you pull off & it doesnt change the way it runs--that is the cylinder that has the problem
