I added a hydrogen generator to my truck and need to get this sensor hooked up, is there a way to hook it up on top anywhere instead of under the engine where the sensor is before the cat. converter?? Thanks

ok still need help, followed sensor wires up behind engine, then they went into a mass of other wires, no way to trace them from there, plus not enough room to do anything, now on my F150 on the air system right past where the air filter goes is another sensor with 2 wires , can I tap into that sensor to hook up the EFIE or do I need to wire it off the bottom sensor? I know there is a solution out there, so someone with an F150 or knows them can help , just have to get the EFIE hooked up--- Thanks

How do you wiring up a new oxygen sensor to th old connecter ? The new one has a blue wire, white wire, and 2 black wires but the old connecter has a gray, black, and white wires..

I believe that the 2nd black wire is a dedicated ground. Three wire has this: Signal - Heater - Ground
but the 4 wire has: Signal - Heater - Heater Ground - Signal Ground

I think you can just splice the two black wires together to make a common ground. Personally I'd just try to find a 3-wire replacement for ease sake but I think you can adapt a 4 wire just fine as well.

Replace oxygen sensor for 4cyl 01" Accord - wires don't match

Don't put a universal oxygen sensor in your vehicle. You will have nothing but problems, and you will have to put an OEM one in it anyway.

When replacing oxygen sensor with a generic... car has 2 black, white and blue. the generic sensor has 2 white, gray and a black. the 2 black and 2 white wires connect. after that, I am left with gray and...

you got to check the manual from the manufacturer and then check the blue wire is usually the feed back wire to the ecu and the black is the power wire to batt...you have to ask the peeps you got the sensor from for what the grey and black do... ? but I know in japanease cars the black is the power.....
check the car wires by using voltmeter on volts put one lead on your battery + and put one on each wire end from the engine one will change as you rev thats the feed back wire to the ecu... just do black power and grey to where the blue was..fixed..!!
