Power Windows won't roll down

Hope this is something simple that I am just overlooking. Had a new battery installed three days ago. Now the back windows won't roll down (front are OK). Can roll them manually but not automatically. The window lock is in proper position. Any ideas to save a trip to the dealer?

SOURCE: 2005 acura rl had battery with low startup voltage

It may reinizialze its self once you take battery out and put new one in. The computer modulator resets when you take neg. side of battery off. So that should work. If not try asking at Advance Auto or one Auto parts stores.

SOURCE: I was rolling up one of my rear power windows and

You will have to remove the screws of the door panel, than take flat-tip screwdriver and pry off door panel. Than you will have to put window back on the track.

SOURCE: I have an acura 2.2 cl and my windows will not

it sounds like the window regulator is broken or has stripped out pull the door panel off and inspect the motor and the lifting regulator.I believe they are still making them out of plastic so that is more then likely the culprit. If that is it you should be able to save quite a bit of money and buy the motor and regulator as one assembly from a reputable salvage yard.

Just had battery replaced and now right side windows won't roll down.

Remove the battery negative cable for 5 minutes to reset the body control module and see if that corrects the problem. This can be a coincidence you know.

My Fiancee rolled down all of her power windows in her 2006 toyota rav 4 to clean it and when she went to roll them back up, none of them would work except the drivers side

She must have hit the child proof lock switch, it is on the drivers side there, It should be the problem, If not, could she have splashed water down there? It might dry out and be fine. If not, I would check fuses, then pull the master switch and see what happened to it. It seems weird that it happened all at once. Gotta be something simple. Hope this helps.

2006 mazda 6 just fitted a new battery now one touch power windows dont work

I had the same thing happen when I replaced my battery on my 2006 mazda 6. The program has to be re-programed and it is very simple. Simply push the window button down until window rolls all the way down, then pull up and roll window back up, but dont let go fo the window button for 3-5 seconds after window rolls back up all the way. This resets the program. Do it to both driver and passender side windows and do it with the key in the on position, but not with the motor started. Hope this helps ya

Have you tried jump starting it? Low voltage can cause lots of issues. It could be a bad alternator.

95 LeSabre custom dies and comes back on

Electrical problems of an intermittent nature are the most difficult to solve. It sounds as if something is draining the battery. The charging system needs to be checked with diagnostic equipment. Something like a parasitic drain may be causing the battery to run down and the alternator cannot keep up with the demand. When something like power windows are activated, they draw a higher amount of current to get started than they need to keep rolling, and this surge of energy may be robbing the injectors of the current they need to allow fuel delivery. I experienced a problem like this on a customers car, and we found that the trunk light was staying on when the lid was down. This was enough to keep the battery from becoming fully charged, and the alternator had to be replaced from being over-worked.
