Replacing the handle on the passenger door of a 1997 Town & Country

A thief broke the passenger door handle on my Town & Country. After getting huge quotes from body shops, I bought a replacement part from a wrecker, and want to try to replace the handle myself. I cannot figure out how to get at the lock from the inside in order to do this. Any help would be appreciated.

I need more details. I already tried to remove the inside panel, but could not get at the bolts for the door lock. I need assistance from someone who has specific knowledge of the Chrysler mini-van passenger door assemblies.

Would you be interested in purchasing a factory service manual for your vehicle. They are very affordable and will provide the most detailed explanation available as they are what the dealer mechanics use.
Thanks,

Try this one:

1. Remove the round plastic button and the screw by the door latch handle.
2. Pry the switch cover off of the door panel and unplug the switch module.
3. There are a series of plasic clips oround the edge of the door panel. I used a paint stir stick with a sanded edge to insert between the plactic door panel and the steel door frame. I slid the stir stick around the periphery of the door panel. When it bumped up agains a clip, I used a flat blade screw driver to pry the panel loose and pop the clips. The clips are nylon and could break when popped loose, so use some care.
4. The window opener assembly has an X shaped configuration, made up of two tracks with cables attached to the motor in the middle of the X. You must unscrew the clips holding the window glass, unscrew the tracks from the door frame and unscrew the motor from the door frame. Then you must work this X assembly through the relatively small hole in the door frame. I first seems impossible without cutting the cables, but remember, the new assembly must be inserted intact, so it will fit.
5. Reverse the process to reinstall.
Hope that helps........

You would have to take off the inside door panel to get to it. There will be a few screws and plastic clips holding the panel to the door.

Neither master switch on driver's door, nor the passenger switch works? You will have to take off inner panel on pass. door to get to the window motor, and check wiring or motor malfunction.

Removing and replacing passenger side mirror 2002 town and country van

there should be a triangle shaped plastic section on the interior of the door behind the mirror, check it for a little plastic screw cover to remove it or you may just have to lever it gently to remove it.
once it is off it exposes the mirror retaining bolts which you undo to remove the mirror, I presume it has electric mirrors and if that is the case you will have to find the electrical wire plug for the mirror and pull it apart, replace mirror in reverse order of removing
