No fuse or relay-----1 wire to all sensors should have what they call 5 volts reference--if the dont--try swapping relays under hood fuse box---owners manuall tells you what & where relays are for--look for EEC relay--electronic engine control----swap with fuel pump relay--some times they are the same---if that doesnt work check all grounds by battery & even ones that go to body

What relay control the 40 amp fuse in the main fuse box

I believe you are talking about the front SAM in the engine compartment. Relays don't control fuses. The power goes through the fuses to the relay on the circuit 15 or 30 side providing power to the consumer when switched on. There are a few 40 amp fuses if I remember correctly. The ESP control module, Wiper motor & Secondary air injection pump.

My f250 2002 my stop, turn and 12 volt supply aren't working, fuses are all good, someone said theres a relay un der the hood that controls the trailer plug directionals, is thair any truth to that

Yes. Sign up on the Autozone.com site for free and you can get Powerbox layouts and wiring details. Also check your Relay number on the part. Ford often usues the same Relay for the horn and they can be switched to test the relay.

The turn stalk can also be a problem. All turn lights run to it. Sometimes if you have the Hazard on the column, just pressing the Hazard button will reset the points for the turns. They use a derailer system and sometimes the points do not return back to center.

I hope my solution is helpful.

2001 F150 supercrew w/ factory towing - No tail lights on trailer

Not sure which fuse you checked.
The Engine Compartment Fuse Panel ( Battery Junction Box / BJB ) is where the fuse is for the trailer tow adapter parking lamps.
Fuse # 5 is the fuse for the parking lamps, and the reversing lamps.

Next is the trailer tow adapter park lamp relay. This is what BJB Fuse #5 feeds, and the coil is operated by the truck's parking lamps. This is also in the BJB, Relay 201, it is the 1/2 size relay.

Not sure what you took a resistance reading from on the trailer tow adapter.

If you want, you can pull the trailer tow park lamp relay, and jumper the normally open contacts, which should provide power at the trailer tow adapters, regardless of the truck's lights.

2001 triton 5.4 warm but will not idle or when its cold

Could be the IAC valve (idle air control) , a vacuum leak or several other things. Take it to a local autoparts store and have them read the codes in the computer. That should tell you more. Reading the codes is usually done free of charge.

Yes a relay or relays in the engine compartment. The fuse cover should tell you where they're at.
