You will need a new compressor clutch plate and pulley installed. If you attempt this the specs for spacing between the plate and pulley are 18-24 thousandths gap.You will also need a puller to remove the clutch plate.

Chevy Aveo grinding noise from accelerator when A/C is on

It will be the ac compressor clutch that slipping when after it has been activated/engaged. This happens when the engine is winding up the compressor clutch is not engaging strong enough and start slipping. However as the engine rpm stabilize on the ac compressor has caught up (same rpm) no slipping occur and no noise. Was the clutch mechanism replaced with the compressor replacement? (however it need to be checked/repaired).

My belt siezed and broke off earlier there was a grinding rattle in engine for past few days and my ac hasnt worked for more than a month

grinding noise was probably a bearing in ac compressor, when it froze up completely it stopped turning causing extreme wear on the belt ..so it broke... check ac compressor out , could be bearing only ..could be whole compressor ..have it fixed...when compressor is removed the hoses have to be disconnected of course so if it still has refrigerant in it, that will need to be recovered at a shop..the ac system will have to be vacuum pumped down and recharged anyway.

Grinding sound when running a mechanic said its timing chain..

First question. IS IT NOISY ONLY WHEN THE A/C IS ON ? If yes , its the compressor, if not could ne the A/C compressor clutch bearing. Best found using a " mechanics " stethoscope such as a doctor uses to pinpoint the noise. Hope this helps

Ac compressor is making a grinding sound.

are you sure that it is the compressor and not something else, is the a/c system working or not if infact the noise is coming from the compressor yes it is possibly the bearing on the compressor or the one on the compressor clucth
