mine does this same thing, when i first accelerate when i let off, it kinda jerks/clunks. They did a tranny flush when I bought it, and my family friend checked it out and said it wasnt an issue. What can I do to make the clunking disappear?

Car jerks at 65 miles per hour

could be a clogged fuel filter, if you have not, you should replace it anyway. then if still bad check flow of fuel pump. might be getting old and slow. if you have a lot of miles might need a tune up. a tune up in general about once a year is recommended anyway.

After driving at 35 to 45 per mile for 15 to 20 miles the car hesitating, jerking and stop it will start again by permiting it to sit a few minutes

Sounds like a gas tank full of crud. Check gas filter to see if it is dirty. Also water in gas will clog gas tank filter then when car stops water will disburse and collect when engine starts again.

Why 2005 Kia Optima jerks @ 20 miles per hour with 157,000 miles?

I would suspect one or more bad ignition ignitors and/ or bad spark plugs.

While driving car jerks when car is changing gears

How many miles on engine? If engine has over 100K on it, you may want to invest in a tune-up. If a tune-up has been done recently, is the check engine light on? If the MIL is on, check for service codes. The code can direct you in the direction to a proper repair.

Have an electronic evaluation carried out, it's quicker and in the long run safes you frustration and cash.

Van does fine until you reach about 45 miles per hour and you get a jerking hesitation until you reach about 50 miles per hour and it stops. doesn't do it any other time.

You may want to do a basic tune up. Plugs, wires, cap&rotor, PCV, and don't forget the fuel filter. It is a forgoten, yet sometimes vital, part of a tune up. If you have already done this within a reasonable mileage, hit me up and we'll try to figure this thing out.
