check pages 161-169 in this manual. It is the 2000 Ford Expedition owners manual. There may be more than one fuse in the lighting system, so i would check them all. Hope this helps.

I would suggest changing the fuse anyway....sometimes they look good, but are faulty. Had the same problem with my vehicle....oh and check your brake lights...i drove around for 3 days and nights with no brake lights.....
