Dear Sir,

I'm using a Jeep Cherokee_diesel, production of 1999. Its number is: 1J4FF68MXXL582016. Since several days the part which puts in function the ventilation system of the car, to protect it against the overheating is broken. I have been told that it is cold DENFER or DEFNER but I'm not sure about the name, but for sure I know the function of the part; it is a kind of switch which swithes on and off the ventilator of the car in order to protect it agains the overheating. The switch works on Merkury contacts. I'm from Albania, and the nearest service point is Monte Negro. If you have this part, I would like to come to the service and fix the problem.
Looking forward to hearing from you soon, I remain

sincerely yours,

Sabah Sena

If you have any extra fuses, try replacing the ones for the head lights and tail lights. Make sure the fuses you replace are the same color as the ones you replace them with, that way the voltages are the same. Another issue is that a flasher could be going out.

I think you have the reverse light switch usualy on the gearbox witch can be bad/doesn't work.
Thry findin it, it should be with only 2 wires and on the side of the gear box.

If this is an Auto trans, on the left side of the tranny just above the tranny pan is a switch. This is the reverse light switch, replace it.
