I have a 2002 dodge ram 1500 4.7L engine. Air conditioning only blows cold air when vehicle is moving; warm air when idling... please help. Thanks!

Start by checking the condensor fan to make sure it is running while you have the ac on. If it is not blowing check the condensor fan motor fuse that is located in the totally integrated power module. If the fuse is bad it is most likely that the condensor fan motor is bad and is drawing too much amperage and will need to be replaced. Now I am assuming it has an electric condensor fan motor. Make sure that the condensor is free of debris, a dirty condensor will cause high discharge pressures that will cause poor or insufficient cooling at idle.

had a problem like this...check two things....1. if your radiator and condensor sit back to back...you may not see one side of condensor for leak test....2. go to a parts store they sell a pack of new rubber seals/grommets...replace them....also check upper and lower schrader valves as they sometimes leak,,,hope this helps...

Cant start the 1981 dotson truck

You should have points and condensor in the distributor, take one sparkplug wire from one one the sparkplug and leave a 1/4 air gap.Have some one crank it you should have spark,If you dont you will need a point and condensor,or if you want just the condensor, now if you replace the point and condensor you retime the engine. If you have spark and it wont start, now go to the carburator the sight glass should be full of fuel.if its not test the fuel pump if its good the carburator float is preventing fuel from entering

I'm replacing the a/c compressor, the orifice tube and the accumelator dryer. Question 1, is the accumelator dryer and the condensor the same thing? Question 2, is it necessary to use a shop vac?

CONDENSOR IS THE SMALL RADIATOR LOOKING DEVICE WITH COOLING FINS IT IS MOUNTED IN FRONT OF THE RADIATOR. THE ACCUMULATOR LOOKS LIKE A CANISTER OR LOOKS LIKE A CAN.YOU NEED TO ADD 1 ONCE REFRIGERANT OIL TO CONDENSOR AND ACCUMULATOR. YOU NEED AC VACUUM PUMP. NOT SHOP VAC. THE AC VACUUM PUMP COST ABOUT $400.00 YOU CAN BUY CHEAPER ONE FOR $60.00 YOU NEED A AIR COMPRESSOR THAT OPERATE AIR TOOLS WITH.YOU NEED VACUUM PUMP TO REMOVE ALL MOISTURE OUT THE AC SYSTEM BECAUSE MOISTURE WILL FREEZE UP IN THE SYSTEM.

My rav4 was in an accident where a ball hitch from the car in front of me hit my bummer. It pushed the metal bar into the condensor and I now do not have any ac. How do I replace the condensor? Do I need...

I'm not positive about a Rav, but it's pretty typical to pull out the radiator, then condensor. Either way, it's going to be expensive. Maybe $500-800 with condensor and freon recharge, and it sounds like you could use a new bumper and lower radiator support. Are you sure you don't want to turn it in on insurance?

Can't find the ''cabin air filter'' on my 1996 Honda Odyssey

A 1996 Honda Odyssey is not equipped with a cabin air filter. If I was looking for a restriction in the cabin air, the first place I would look is on the inlet side of the A/C condensor. ALL cabin air travels through the A/C condensor ALL of the time. (The heater core only sees air when the temp door is not directing the air around it and always after it has been through the condensor first.) I have seen gunk as hard as concrete clogging the condensor just from layers of dirt that collects on the wet coils then dries.

1996 toyota corrolla transmission

Open the drivers door and there is a plate riveted to the pillar below the latch. It has a bunch of info on it including the VIN number. The trans code will be listed there. Its helpful to know the possible codes you are looking for since it won't be obvious with all the numbers and letters listed there.
