When applying pressure to accelerator, it sometimes "sticks", revs REALLY high and the car har no power to the accelerator - have to pull over, turn off vehicle and restart...???

pull diagnostic trouble codes and post back, sounds like it could be a problem with tps or app sensors, assuming this is a drive by wire and not a cable driven system

Mitsubishi triton mn

it may require a ECM upgrade in the software
in the mean time restrict the rpms between gear changes
for example accelerate in first ti around 3000 rpms and slow down the selection and keep the rest of the changes around the 2500-3000 rpm range
naturally , the harder yo rev it the longer it will take for the rpms to drop
just as a point of interest how did you get a brand new car that is 4 years old ?

2005 Mercury Grand Marquese accellarator not accellerating motor

Check idle speed, air flow speed, oxygen sensors . Check fuel manifold pressure. If the engine runs ok but will not rev up check the cat converter by hitting with the heel of your hand and listening for rattles as they are prone to failing and blocking up the exhaust system which stops the motor from accelerating

89 Bronco II 4x4, 6 cyl., chirps and clanks (badly) upon acceleration (clanking especially bad in 4x4 low) sounds like something is going to fall off. The clanking was minimal at first and has become...

Accelleration noises of the magnitude you descibe makes me think the engines crank shaft bearings have gone. Has the oil pressure light come on recently and what's the oil level like.
Without being there to hear it, it's very difficult to diagnose. You should detect noises and rattle if you rev it when in neutral if it is the engine. If the engine is smooth in neutral and the oil is good you may have a bad diff or cv joint

My Ford aspire turns over and runs, but will accellerate very slowly no matter how far down the gas peddle is depressed. I have changed the filters, and the O2 sensors, but this has only made fuel...

you might need a tune-up...check the transmission fluid or the transmission its self...also you need to check the fuel filter if you still didn't...
Good Luck!

I have a windstar 1996 end whend accellerating rpn goes up n down what i can ido

This is a natural process. When you accelerate the engine revs up & changes gears. If it is a standard transmission Then the engine reving excessively higher may mean clutch servicing & adjustment.

Engine continues to rev when clutch is depressed to change gear,

Could be faulty cable, dirty throttle body, or a slight vacuum leak.

2001 xg-300 stall when to cold,no acceleration,check engine on

I've got no diagrams on this car but I'd check mass air flow sensor if you have one. Often they can be cleaned off and work well afterwards, or replace it.
