SOURCE: obd code 446 for 1999 toyota camry 2.2L How to

Do you mean P0446 since I'm guessing you removed the P and 0 from the beginning.
This is related to your Fuel system

Your gas cap may not have been tightened fully (this usually generates a different code though)
Your purge solenoid may be malfunctioning
Your canister may be clogged

I am having a multiple cylinder misfire on my 2006 Toyota RAV4 with the 3.5L V6. Every cylinder is reporting a mifire. Each cylinder has it's own coil. I highly doubt that all 6 coils went bad at once. Does anyone have any idea what my be causing this?? Is that the problem you two are having?

Check engine light is on my 2005 toyota echo

The check engine light will come on for many different reasons. Could be as simple as a loose gas cap. If that's not the problem, then you need to get the code(s) read. Your car will require an OBD II code reader. In some states, the auto parts stores will retrieve the codes for you. Without a code, there is no way to say what made the light come on for sure.

Codes 440 446 evaporative.. Good idea to warm

You can't check a gas cap by seeming. An emmisions staition will check it for you. You don't want to do that hair dryer warming. Flamable and rubber hardening is heat to gas vapors.

Engine light keeps coming on

The P-0440, P-0441 and P-0446 indicates that you have a leak in the "fume" side of the system. Normally, seeing a 440-441-446 is a loose or defective fuel cap. One would NOT change the evap VSV for a 440-441-446 set of codes. At this point, I agree with you regarding the trust issue. Regarding the caisiter, I cannot speculate yes or no, without further info/codes/etc from your dealer, but, I have replaced several over the past few years; this "could" be true....
