Engine idle speed on citreon berlingo 1.9

Warm diesels should idle low. Some of them 800-900 revs.
At cold, they should have a fast idle, some 1100 revs.
look if your engine has a cylindrical device, with a bowden cable to the diesel distibutor pump. This will be your coldstart device, responsible for idle revs.

I changed the ignition coil, the wires, and plugs, still only 2 plugs firing. what is my problem ?

It would help greatly if you wore more spicfic about what kind of vehicle and year also engine you have . But that being said the problem probably lies in the electronic ignition module or the cam shaft pisition sensor or the distibutor shaft or distibutor shaft gear to the cam shaft

I have this code is p1345 i need one solution please.

P1345 is Camshaft To Crankshaft Position Correlation Fault. This code is set for a couple of reasons. Most common is a stretched timing chain. The other is the distibutor drive gear is worn. In some rare instances if the distibutor was removed for any reason and the engine was disturbed at all, the distributor could be put back in 1 tooth off, the engine will run but you will get this code.

Where is the distibutor cap on a 1993 Jetta Wagon?

Hi, look on the engine block for the place where all the spark plug wires go, and you've find the distributor. Unsnap all clips and take off the distributor cap and suppressor shield, leaving the spark plug wires attached.

Have taken distibutor out of engine how do I retime engine

The easy way to find Top Dead Center is to take out # 1 spark plug and put your finger in the hole in the block. Get someone to crank the engine over as slow as you can until you feel air pressure blow by your finger. turn engine by hand until timing marks line up with 0 mark on harmonic dampener. you are now ready to install distibutor . make sure the rotor points to #1 cylinder when fully seated. It is also a good idea to line up the oil pump shaft slot with distibutor grove and it will drop in easier. Good Luck.

I just put a new distibutor in my GF 1998 civic It was throwing a 1362 code new distibutor solved that engine light is out, but now the car stumbles on acceleration of idle. It did not do this with the old...

the best thing is take that distributor out, exchange for other new one. make sure the new distributor is a right year for your car and model . good luck

Firing order is 1  3  4  2  and start at one, (the top) go one at a time, and move in a clockwise rotation.  looks like this:

Need the alignment points for after chain replacement. thanks

there should be a mark on the cam pulley. occasionally it has O T written on it. the cylinder head has a similar mark on top. these two have to align when you look directly at the cam pulley. the crank has to be top dead centre as well with the cam lined up. TDC has a line on the flywheel. to see the line remove the plastic covering on the gearbox. best thing is to remove the spark plugs and turn the engine manually. be careful with the valves. these cars are ok if the valves are fully down, but dont risk it. then your intermediate shaft that turns the distributor also has a line that needs to line up next to one on the crank toothed pulley. if these two dont line up then your distibutor position is off standard.
