2002 dodge neon: Wipers won't shut off; car sporadically "resets" itself. You'll be driving and all of a sudden it loses all power then comes right back to life. All the gauges go crazy, dummy lights come on and the car starts beeping at you. Has anyone ever dealt with anything like this?

I would get them from a dealer. they'll be the correct bolts and hardness for your application

Have the timing checked; the idle speed is set too low.

have the fault codes read
computers do not lie --they report what they know as fact

Check the brake fuse in your dash's fusebox. Since the turns work, you know the bulbs are good, unless your Neon has separate brake lights. If the fuse is good, bulbs are good, then check for power at the brake light switch on the upper portion of the brake pedal. Should have 12 volts there all the time. Use a testlight or voltmeter to check. Good luck.

take the car to AAMCO for free inspection and quote it might be tranny but it is likely the abs has been screwed with

check fusable link in wiring harness this is between battery and firewall if this is burned out ,you have a serious electrical problem if not that, check computer

HAVE YOU CHECKED GROUND STRAPS ON RAD SUPPORT..HAVE SEEN BOLTS ON THESE GROUNDS BREAK OFF AND CAUSE ALL KINDS OF ELECTRICAL ISSUES..2-3 BLACK WIRES GOING TO A BOLT ON EACH SIDE OF RAD SUPPORT
