Had the same problem with the same make, model and year of vehicle. Ended up replacing the fuel pump.

Vacuum leak from brake booster. If you hear a sucking noise when you press the brake pedal replace it. Another way to check it is to place truck in gear set e-brake press brake pedal repeatedly and see if idle goes up and down. DO NOT PRESS GAS PEDAL DURING TEST.

Engine stalls when throttled. buick century

Are you leaking gas? maybe it's sucking air and your not getting enough pressure when throttled. I found a little leak on my truck right by the tank, not dripping but tube is shot so it sucks air and kills the pressure so when i press gas pedal it's dieing or stalling...

Change oil light remains on

Turn your car's ignition key to 'On', but don't start it. Press the gas pedal all the way to the floor three times. Your car should beep. That will reset the oil change counter, which reminds you to change the oil (I think every 5000 miles). If your car doesn't beep after pressing the gas pedal, it could be the brake pedal that you have to press, I don't really remember.

When i press on the gas peddle the car hesitates and jerks. If I do it slowly it doesn't do this... But, you can't press hard on the gas peddle or it will hesitate.

I think your car is runing Lean and i would say check the Mass air flow sensor and the fuel system because your car seems like its sucks more air then fuel. Do you have any check engine light on ?

Oil light

Hi lady d tilli,

Take off the fuse cover on the drivers side of the dash. there should be a bunch of fuses. in the middle is a red button that says "reset." turn your key to the on position, but DO NOT START. press the reset button until the change oil light blinks, then turn the key back off it should be fine after that. for the 05's theres somthing you have to do with the gas pedal. i think you do the same, by turning the key on but not starting...and then tapping the gas pedal 3 times.

Hope this helps a bit,
Good luck,
