Question about 2000 Ford F350 Super Duty Super Cab
After starting the engine sometimes cuts out without warning, usually before the engine reaches normal working temperature.when you try to restart the engine always turns over but may not fire.after a period of time it starts and may not cut out again that day.
Check to see if your truck was recalled for a faulty cam shaft sensor. Some sensors develop hair line cracks which allow contaminants to get in and the sensor becomes intermittent. The symptoms can include sudden shutdown of the engine so a recall was issued.
