Car shekes when hit bumps

Check for bad wheel balance, struts, lower ball joints ( no upper joints) , outer tie rod ends, inner tie rod ends, stabilizer bar bushings, lower control arm bushings , and finally a wheel alignment ,you have some bad looseness in one or more of these front end parts. GOOD LUCK FRIEND.

On the struts, it will depend a bit on what you find, but I would also replace the bounce buffers, upper and low spring seat rubbers and maybe the strut upper bearing plates if they have been noisy at all. They do wear.

Have a close look at the bushings in the lower lateral arms and the torque rods (drag links). I would replace the sway bar mount bushings as they are notorious on this car for wearing quickly.

Clunking in the frount

A clunking sound in the front is very often the CV joints. This should be more obvious in a slow tight turn. If it is not the CV and is more noticeable on rough roads it could be any one if the suspension joints.

1996 ford windstar clunk type noise under front has new shocks and struts seems more often on turns ans rough road

Check the stabilizer links (also known as the sway bar links). They are the parts that go between the stabilizer bar and the strut. You will need to check them with both wheels on the ground. you will be able to move the ends in and out or up and down if they are loose/sloppy. If those are tight than check the lower ball joints.

You can check the ball joints buy jacking up the vehicle. Do not jack under the control arms. Grab the tire at the 3 o'clock position and aggressively push/pull. If you feel any movement than position yourself so that you can safely watch the lower ball joint while you aggressively push or pull on the tire. If you see it moving it is bad.

The inner and outer tie rods could also be sloppy but will require much less force to get them to move. You will be able to put one hand on those parts while you move the tire with the other had.

It is also possibly that the stabilizer bar bushings could be bad also.

The last possibility that I can think of is that the bushings in the lower control arms where the radius arms pass through (the parts that attach to the front of the sub-frame and then bolt to the middle of the lower control arms, are sloppy. Usually you will see the whole tire move back and forth when you brake or accelerate when they are bad.

I have a 1999 camry LE which is making a knocking noise on both sides(more on the right side) at the front like if the struts/ball joints are bad; I changed the both struts, ball joints and the noise is...

The outer tie rod ends can make a clanging noise if they are loose. You can easily check them - grab a hold of the tie rod and try to move it around to see if it has any play in the steering knuckle..

The noise could also be caused by the stabilizer/sway bar. Check the bushings and check the links for wear.

Rattling noise from near side front wheel area. Have checked for play on bearing and checked brake disc. No problem detected. Noise only occurs at low speeds.

i have the exact same problem ive got 2001 honda civic and have an annoying rattle from the wheel area. i have replaced cv joint, ball joint, sway bar drop links, strut, and suspension bushing and arm....but still rattle noise is there. dnt have a clue what it could be, from looking on the internet i have found few possibilities.....lower control arm/bushin...motor mounts....gear box mounts....strut rod bushing....axle....inner/outer cv joint....calliper pins......shock/shock bushing...or wheel bearing. im hoping tio get all this checked out its got to be able to be fixed somehow!

2004 camry, vibration right front

If the wheel is in balance and there is no other signs of what is causing the vibration than yes that cv joint should be chk. Is the strut ok? might want to chk. that too.
