Question about 2005 Ford Crown Victoria
There is a heavy vibrating sound that occasionally comes from the motor and lasts on an average of 10 to 15 seconds. with my luck, i cant get the sound to replicate when i have the hood popped except for once and it seems to be coming from underneath the intake. i removed the intake and tried to replicate the sound but it wouldnt, so i am unsure. the sound usually happens when i turn the ignition to accessory, and i hear it periodically while driving. what is this sound coming from and is it normal?
The noise is from the idle speed control valve on the intake, have seen this issue many times while working for Ford, replace it.
