When you upen it manually does it feel lik ther is any binding once you get past the halfway mark? It almost sounds like it is binding up where the motor is at the half way point and once the door is fully opened the motor cannot close the door because there is too much resistance. One other issue could be the motor is starting to wear out and is having trouble opening and closing the door. If you found this solution helpful please rate it.

Why isn't my right sliding door not opening or closing

If sliding door is electric, that's where I would start, check the electrical circuits for voltage and ground. If that checks out, the issue may be mechanical?
Your owners manual should give you some operational info for the sliding door.

How to put a dodge grand caravan passenger sliding door back on track

This fairly easy but requires a little strength. There is a keeper on the top of the sliding door that stops it from going too far.loosen this keeper or remove it. Slide it all the way to pen then stick your hand in under the cover near the end there will be a slot or opening an inch or two long. Take the roller wheel and put it in the opening. Push up and you will be able to feel it seat into the track like a closer door, It may take a . pretty good push .Then replace the keeper on the top of the door. Sliding the door half closed will keep you from pushing it back off before your replace the clip. I worked at the plant that built your van.

How do i reprogram the power sliding door on a 2005 buick terraza

From the owner's manual:

If your vehicle has

the dual power sliding doors, both doors will have

to be reset. To reset a door, do the following:

1. Check to be sure the power sliding door is

unlocked and securely closed.

2. Turn the ignition to LOCK.

3. If the power sliding door overhead console

switch is in the override (deactivation)

position, return to the activation position.

4. Open the sliding door using the remote

keyless entry transmitter, overhead console

switch, or passenger switch. Allow the door to

travel fully open.

If the door does not travel to the fully open

position, press the overhead console switch to the

override (deactivation) position and slide the

door fully open and closed. Check for foreign

objects in the tracks. Repeat the procedure starting

with Step 1. If the door resists travel to the fully
open position, see your retailer for service.

hi

this is because of the track in which the door slides.there is something in the path or the track got damaged which prevents the door sliding after a certain limit.
the wiring harness and the motor are seems to be in good condition becausethe door works til certian point.so the problem is with the track only.

2002 Honda Odyssey: sliding door jolts/reopens when closing

Please check the aft track roller assembly. It is easiest to inspect from the rear of the van looking forward when the door is open. You'll see the rear hinge assembly clearly. The track rollers cannot be seen but you can pull outboard on the rear edge of the door--the door should not move outboard more than 1/8 of an inch. If it moves out more than this or feels sloppy, suspect damaged/missing track rollers. This will cause the hinge to chatter in the track and "jolt". It will also cause the door to misalign during the close phase preventing the close motor from properly engaging.
Replacing this part is no easy task but doable if you are good with cars. Check back here for more details if you want to try it, otherwise get a competent mechanic or the Honda dealership to do it.

Auto sliding door wont completely open or close from the home possition. The door opens half way and the door closes half way.

The wire harness/track assembly below the door needs replaced. It is a fairly simple operation that can be done in your driveway or garage. If you have any questions on how to replace feel free to ask.

Door will not slide automatically; emits loud beeping noise

Something similar to that was happening with our Odyssey...the beeping when you are driving whether it's ongoing or intermittent is the "safety alarm" letting you know the door is not closed. The power lock is not engaging. What I do when I get the beeping while driving is hit the Door Close button. It causes the door to attempt to engage again. To fix it...we first cleaned out the space below the side running board (kids were hiding crayons and things in there), then looked for any obstructions along the top and bottom tracks. I sprayed a lubricant along the tracks (I'd suggest the dry lube kind...I used WD40 the 1st time and had streaks of it dripping down after driving), use a lube that has a long straw to spray in small places...and spray up into the track that runs the length of the middle of the car. Manually open and shut it a few times to get the tracks lubed, then try it out.
If you press the open OR close button by remote or in the car and get nothing...no movement/no noises/no beeping...then it could be the electrical circuit itself, the signal itself may be impeded...or the motor shot. Have you tried any of these suggestions before?

Passager automatic sliding door issues

sounds like a safety trigger as in a pinch sensor or a hall sensor in the motor. does the door have a drag like feel when you open it manually or does it just zing open as it should. if it drags when u open it. i would vote motor. make sure your tracks are clean and free just lube it up with wd40
