Hi - My chevelle was stored in the winter and mice filled my air vent with bird seed and dog food. I'm looking to remove my side panel that contains the vent that is located near the park brake drivers foot area. I can't see any screws to remove it. I'm wondering if it just pops off and there are clips that are holding it on?

- The panel is not carpeted. There is carpet on the floor. I looked everywhere but can't see any screw heads. Maybe I will pull up the carpet and take a look again. Thank you

if it is a carpeted panel there will be two for sure possibly three phillips head screws in the panel. two along the bottom. one at the rear and one by the door opening. and possibly one at the top by the door opening.

- after viewing a customers 70 chevelle it appears to held in by the aluminum trim along the door channel. It has molded plastic retainers that push into the holes in the body. simply reach your hand behind and pull with your fingers as close to the retainers as possible and the panel will release.
