If you are just testing fan alone, then disconnect electric plug and attach 2 wires...one to battery + and one to batt -

Radiator and condenser fans do not go off whenever ac is switched on on 1999 honda accord

The fans will likely come on with the A/C. One is to help cool the radiator when you aren't moving, and the other is for the A/C when there isn't enough airflow to cool the condenser. Both fans may continue to run even after the car is turned off.

I have already replaced the radiator and thermostat but my 91 Honda Accord still overheats, why?

Run a cooling system pressure test. If you are losing pressure, then you will have to first locate the source of your leak.

With the engine started and the radiator topped off with coolant, does the radiator spout water out of the top? Does the spouting become more aggressive with engine revs? Yes? = Blown head gasket, or cracked cylinder.
No?- check operation of radiator cooling fan. With car stationary and hood up, run engine up to temperature and make sure radiator cooling fan kicks in before the engine temperature rises too high.

My have a blown head gasket on my 2000 Honda Accord V6. What could have led to this problem?

most common causes of blown head gaskets are engine overheating. could be caused radiator cooling fans inoperative, cooling system leaks, clogged radiator passages,or sticking thermostat. if a head gasket is severely blown the cooling system will pressurize very rapidly on cold engine startup. other more rare cases of head gaskets blowing could be loose head bolts. make sure new head bolts are used and torqued correctly if service manuals recommend new head bolts.

My fan when out to cool down the radiator can it

It could be a fuse, but more likely a thermal sensor. Supply external power to the disconnected fan to test the fan.

Fan is not turning

U have a leak somewere in your cooling system and needs to be fixed, plus the fan has a censor that tells it to come on and that is probably bad,but check the fuses first.

Cooling fan in Honda

On my 1996 Accord (4cylinder), this was caused by a tube inside my radiator overflow tank dropping off into the tank - the radiator would have too little fluid in it, so the fans would run a LONG time after shutting the thing down. The tank is in the front left, a white cap with a black tube running out of the cap to the radiator. Underneath the cap there should be a foot or so of hose - this is what fell off of mine.

Hooked it back up, made sure enough fluid was in the radiator, and no more problem.

The dashboard coolant heat gage will show the high temperature, also.

A/c compressor kicks off and on 2000 honda accord

Sounds like too high of head preasure for compressor, check cooling fan operation. also spay water on front of car (on condensor, located in front of radiator) see if compressor stays on while doing this.

Honda Accord 20012.0L auto, Radiator fans is not working.

check the thermostat, the thermostat regulates water flow through your engine to cool it down sometimes they get stuck open or closed, remove it and put it through a simple test
grab a cup of cold water and a glass of hot water drop it in one then the other, you should be able to see if it opens and closes
