Need to replace the coolant radiator sm put a hole in it hitting a gard rail easy removal tips

What model vehicle?
this makes a big difference as to removing the radiator.
I can walk you through it from removal to installation and purging

most cases you will need to remove the dust cover over top of the radiator first, then the fan shroud(2 bolts or clips, one on each side) , drain the system into a catch pan , remove trans cooler lines, remove lower and upper coolant lines.

if you have electric cooling fans mounted to your radiator, disconnect the wire plugs, unbolt them from the radiator (3-4 bolts)

if you have a belt driven clutch fan. Remove the tension on your belt , remove the four screws holding the fan on, and pull the fan out, then on the sides of your radiator there will be two to four bolts mounting it to the front clip, remove them then your radiator will slide right out,
to install reverse the process

Who do you replace a radiator

Before you start remove the ground cable from your battery. Remove the radiator shroud that covers the top of the radiator. Then there should be a connector that plugs into the cooling fans disconnect this plug. There are 2 or 4 bolts that hold the cooling fans in place.Remove the bolts and the cooling fans. Then you want to drain your cooling system.Once its drained remove the upper and lower radiator hoses and the overflow tube. Then you want to remove the transmission cooling lines on the left side of the radiator.Be sure to put a pan under it because it might leak a little fluid out of them. Now on the top of the radiator there are two brackets that hold the radiator in place.Remove these brackets and carefully remove the radiator.Alittle tip for you when you put the new radiator take the box it came in and cut pieces of cardboard to cover the fin area so that when you put the cooling fans in you don't damage the new radiator.Once there in then you can pull the cardboard out.Once you have it installed and everything is hooked back up fill it with anti freeze and check for leaks.
