Re: cutting off problems
You should have the PRESSURE TESTED from the Fuel pump, AND the Volume
(amount) of gas getting to the engine... if the Fuel pump is failing
intermittently, it will not show up on the OBDII computers... this will
need some old fashion detective work form an experienced and HONEST
Another thing you might want done is have the Fuel FILTER removed and
checked, to see if it clogged up causing the troubles your are having.

- Faulty mass air flow sensor
- Intake air leaks
- Dirty mass air flow sensor
- Dirty mass air filter
- Mass air flow sensor harness is open or shorted
- Mass air flow sensor circuit poor electrical connection
Before replacing the mass air flow sensor, try replacing the air filter and cleaning the air flow sensor with low compress air or mass air flow sensor cleaner. Reset code and drive vehicle. If the code comes back, it may be necessary to replaced the mass air flow sensor.
3 possible problems your mass are flow meter/senso could be going bad but not bad enough to register a fault, the same for your idle air valve and also your throttle position sensor. all 3 of these are on your throttle body .
with the engine running tap the side of the mass air flow with the back of a screw driver, if the engine sputers mass air flow needs replaced.you can try cleaning it with some mass air flow cleaner if you cant find that at your auto parts store get some electrical parts wash. your idle air valve needs to be cleaned or replaced there hard to get off. your throttle position sensor , you need to know the setting ,if the auto parts store cant give you aprint out of instuctions best to let a kia dealership do it and pay out the ****.
yes the mass air flow will cause the oxygen sensor to have bad readings cause it don't tellthe cumputer to mix the right amount of gas it throughs the whole balance off..i would fix these and see from there...hope i helped..
