Hi,

You will need to get the papers that came with your car, search all the documents that came with the car, the code to reset your car radio is written on one of the documents that came with your car. If you cannot get it, you will need to get the serial number on your radio and contact the dealer for the reset code, because, the dealers have the reset code, but you will need to tender prove of ownership before this can be done. You can also try 4877 as the code to unlock your radio.

What is wrong with my 96 Volvo 850 cd player (no disc changer)?

The motors for the eject tend to strip out (several very small plastic gears. Hopefully this is not the problem because it is impossible to find parts. The other option is that dust/dirt have built up inside and the sensor does not feel/see the disk you are trying to insert. Use a can of compressed air (office store - sold to clean computer keyboards, printers, ...). Spray into the cd slot to remove dust.

Code po133 o2 sensor 96 volvo 850 wagon

Front oxygen sensor code. Check the vacuum line to the fuel pressure regulator and make sure it is ok before you replace the sensor. Any vacuum leak can also cause the code.

1996 Volvo 850 the seat belt won't release so I can't put on my seatbelt when driving. Is this expensive to fix.

The locking mechanism is plastic and usually brakes apart inside. It needs to be replaced. Because it is a 96 model, I would not trust used parts. Buy new from Volvo. They run in the $200 range for the part.

How do I know if I have a CD player in my Volvo 850? There is a CD button but when I press the CD button it says "EEEE" my audio system is the SC-710. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Apparently you do not have a CD changer connected to your radio and that is why you get an error when you press the CD button. However sometimes it's an error code and means that you need to reenter the code for the radio. Is there a place to put in a CD? If so, here's a link to some info on your radio and entering your code.

Radio anti-theft code needed for '96 volvo sedan 850

Try to un connect battery, wait 10 minuets and connect the battery. After that you can type in code again. Volvo dealer should have the radio code. The code is writhed in to a computer system on the factory.

HU 850 CD stuck in player

One thing about Volvo CD player/changers...they tend to not like burned CDs and even more, burned CDs with labels on them.

I'd suggest against trying to get it out yourself.

You can get it replaced and the dealership should have a form so you can get your CDs sent back.
