There is a specific procedure for setting valve clearance . I highly recommend getting a repair manual for the correct specs & procedure. The engine must be at TDC with the #1 cylinder on the compression stroke , that will allow you to adjust ONLY certain valves , then you have to turn the engine one turn to TDC again only now #1 will be on the exhaust stroke & the rest of the valves can be adjusted . it's important that you know the difference between the two !
REMOVE THE VALVE COVER AND CHECK THE ROCKER ARMS WITH GAUGE OR JUST TRY TO SHAKE THEM FOR FIGURE IT OUT LOSE ONE. CHECK THE LIFTER SEATS IF ANYTHING BLOCKING THE OIL PASSAGE TO MAKE ITS JOB.IF YOU GONNA REPLACE GET TORQUE SPECS OR IF ANY ADJUSTMENT REQUIRED.
bro. u need to tade off the valve cover. then buy silicone(for hot temp) n put silicone around the seals and all around the valve cover gasket. n put everythind back. you only gona need a ten milimeter socket
