3 bolts broke off while trying to change my tire. how do you replace these? Do you need a wheel puller or something to get the plate off the front of the rotor?

Typically, you'll have to remove the caliper and brake rotor. Then, remove the wheel assembly form the axle and use a press to force out the broken stud. Unless you have access to the proper tools to do this, you would probably be better off having a mechanic do it- The shop near me charges about $16 to replace a broken stud and even though I can do it myself, for as much of a pain that it is to do, I'd rather just pay them to do it.

How do I get bolts out that have broken off so that I can replace the strutts on both sides in the rear of the car?

you need to go to auto parts plqse and purchase some liquid wrench and spray down all rusty bolts that you need to replace.let it sit for a while so it can penetrate. take your old broken bolt with you and purchase a drill tap that you can drill out the bolts .this is the same process you use when brake off head bolt.

Broken spark plug coil bolt

If it is broken off below the surface you will have to try to drill it and use an easy out tool. And it may be frozen in the threads which is why it broke with you.

Clunking inrear end

well, you can only remove the tires and check for brake hardware broken or loose, shock bolts or torsion bar bolts broke. if this is a rear wheel drive then you can remove rear cover plate and visually inspect ring and pinion gears for broken teeth.

I broke off one of the bolts on my rear passenger side wheel when changing the tire. How do I fix this one?

try to take a screw driver and on the side of the broken bolt try to tap it out with a hammer see if you can get it to turn and if that dont work you may need to have it drilled out

How to replace lug studs on 2002 chrysler town

I'll try to help you. If you are having trouble with 3 out of 5 studs on one wheel you may want to go to an autoparts store or Salvage yard to look at the whole hub. Usually a press is used to remove the bolts so you would be taking off the hub anyway. When you pay for 3 bolts and labor you may be better off in a Salvage yard or parts place for a different hub. The rear hub on front wheel drive cars is like a trailer axle. Much simpler to remove mounting bolts and press in new bolt. But if rear has differential(rear wheel drive) it has an axle shaft. Would be easier to grind and drill out broken stud on car. You can draw new bolt into place by placing bolt through a socket and use the wheel nut to draw the bolt into the hub.

Broken Wheel lock

You can try going to auto parts store and see if they have one, if not then you will need to get a damaged bolt/nut removal tool and remove all 4 and replace with new lock set.

2 lug bolts on my 4 lug bolt tire broke off.

assuming the bolts that broke, broke while the vehicle was in motion,
the wheel is bent
when the broken bolts were at the bottom, there was twice as much leverage between the wheel edge and the other bolt, and nothing to restrain the near edge, it would bend like cardboard
replace the wheel
