my car died and the power windows and locks stopped working. also the power seats don't work and the fuel pump doesn't run.

My 1994 Buick Park Avenue will, out of nowhere, not start: It turns over, it runs for about a second, but then dies no matter how you try to give it gas. Then I can try again and it will turn over and run, as if it had fuel, but only for a second, and then die again. I could crank it like this ten times but it still doesn't start up. Then I might come back a day later and it turns over. What is this? At 279,000 miles, I have already replaced the fuel pump a year ago, and if it didn't pressurize the system, why would it continue to run for a second each time? Fuel Pump Relay on the firewall? I am stumped.

I tried 'banging' on the panel that covers the relays on the firewall and thought that actually worked one time. But not the next. I tried putting some fuel in, thinking it was just low and did not read correctly. But it did it again now showing well over a half tank. I tried jiggling the wires hoping it was a loose connection. I checked the vacuum hoses but only found two and they seemed to check out OK.

The turning over without the starts; my car does the same thing. I would just keep trying and eventually it would run. Well, I was told it could either be a bad ignition coil, or maybe an oxygen sensor going bad. A tune up might help too. Does this happen after rainy weather? It could be a crack that's allowing moisture in the ignition parts.

Not sure about the windows, sounds like an electrical problem. Check the fuses yet? It might be a bad solenoid switch in the doors. My passenger side door lock never opens with the auto unlock, but it does lock. I have to manually unlock it. I've just been too lazy to replace the part. The strange thing is that in the 2 years I've had it, it automatically opened ONE TIME out of the blue, but then the problem came back.

Passenger side door lock does not work on my 1994 pqrk ave buick. It makes a small effort but thats all. Others all work fine

Remove door panel and inspect lock area.Make sure nothing is interfering with lock and door handle rods.Lubricate lock mechanism with light lubricant.if lock still does not work, install new actuator assembly. It will be easier to remove lock assembly to properly install new actuator.Be sure to note connecting rods to lock for proper reassembly. It saves time to mark them with different color paint. It is also a good idea to always perform voltage and current test on any electrical circuit before replacing any components.

1997 park ave battery dies over night

I just posted my experience in another place on this site but on my 1992 PA the accessories relay stuck closed. This relay is the one that allows you to listen to the radio etc and keep things on until you open the door then all shuts off. When it is stuck closed accessories keep running until your battery drains dead. The relay was replaced and all worked great.

Windows and locks don't work BUT THE DRIVER'S DOOR in 1999park av

You may have gotten water and/or ice down into the controls in the door. Replacing expensive (several hundred dollars) modules might solve the problem. When the weather wams up it might go away on its own. I avoid opening my windows in the winter now that I know my Park Avenue is susceptible to the problem.

Keyless remote not working

try these , maybe its the same directions .1.) turn key off . 2.) use a fused wire , maybe your new remote came with a short wire , under your driver side dash is a connector that looks like this >
push 1 end of the wire into the A hole , and the other end into the G hole , the door locks should lock and unlock , 3.) press the unlock button on the new remote , the door locks should lock and unlock . 4.) repeat this procedure if you have another remote you want to register . 5.) now disconnect that jumper wire , and test the functionality of your remote(s) . see what that does for ya .
