CarGurusOct 9, 2012 - Power Windows not working - I have a 2006 Honda Accord and thepassenger and back power windows quit working all at once. ... My key less entry doesn't work either after I replaced the master Window control unit. 6 out of ...
Could be, but do the rest of the windows work? If so, then it could be the switch, since the driver window gets the most use. These items should be separate- unless they all stopped at the same tim- then it could be a wiring issue somewhere. Take off the cover of the fuse box. It is at the end of the driver side dash panel. Open the frivers door, and look at a "D" shaped panel on the end of the dash. A sharp pull will dislodge it. On the BACK side of that panel will be a listing of each fuse on the fuse box. One by one, locate the different fuses that you suspect could be the culprit(s) Take one out, inspect it, replace it if it is good. keep going until either you have exhausted the possibilities, or found the one causing the issue. I cannot find a fuse for the heated seats in my schematics, so I think it may be a relay. Is it only the driver side heated seat? Again, it gets the most use. Check underneath to see if it could be unplugged or loose. And I cannot find a circuit in the schematic for the 12V outlet (cigar lighter in the old parlance) either. Good luck on this. I hope it helpes. Let us know if any of these things hit on your issue!
sounds like you have a bad swith in the drivers side handle pull out switch board and check for power on those only when turning in down and on position should see power if not bad switch never heard of two motors going bad at the same time
Check the fuse box under the hood. It should be located on the drivers side. Open it up and check around for the radio fuse. Most likely labeled as "ACC" which is short for accessorie. It should be a 15 AMP fuse. Last winter my radio blew out as well and I check the fuse box and replaced the fuse and now it works fine. The fuse was burnt beyond believe though. If you havent already fixed the problem I hope this helps.
If the windows work from drivers switch it will not be a fuse problem. It will be the lock out switch is bad. If my memory serves me correctly on this vehicle it is actually part of the master switch and you cannot get it separately.
yes there is , under the hood in a fuse block on left side of engine compartment , will be a 10 amp trailer parking lamps fuse ( TRL PARK ),,, also on right side of dash will be a right trailer turn/stop fuse and a left trailer turn/stop fuse, just for your information . i don't know if it will be plainly identified , if not maybe your owners manual can help identify it . were rootin for ya .
