The power comfort switch: power, for use when towing or driving in hilly terrain Comfort regular driving. The difference isn't all that noticeable, the power setting downshifts sooner.
The antenna:Is it jammed down, or could it be a bad fuse? I'd check the fuse 1st, then the motor to make sure it's still working, as it could have burned out. If possible, use a pair of needle nose pliers if you can grab onto the tip. If the above doesn't work, you probably have to remove the entire antenna assembly. good luck, let me know if you have any other questons, and how it goes. countrycurt0

Can anyone please tell me where the electric aerial fuse is for a Nissan Terrano 1996?

i dont think there is one, put it takes a signal from the radio. in order to solve this, you have to go where the power antenna is located and disconnect the wiring, you will see blue and green wires. you're power antenna is jam. and make sure you insulate the wires after clipping them.

if it is electrical then it rises when the radio is turned on or if the radio is left on all the time ,when the ignition switch is turned on
it needs a separate earth point to operate and because it is a separate power wire ,there will be a fuse in a circuit that controls the circuit
because they are at the base of the antenna , they can fill with water and become inoperative through corrosion and such
have a radio technician or auto electrician check it out
if it is manual it may be pushed too far down and the tip is locked in
release the lock with a hair pin ,paper clip or similar object then pull the aerial up

What is the switch in the middle of the center console that reads power or comfort in a 1992 Nissan Stanza

That would be the transmission mode. Power will make it shift harder at more engine rpms. Comfort will make it shift softer at lower engine rpms. I would use power for mountain or passing situations and comfort for everyday driving.

What is the function of the button near the auto transmission gear with writing c and s

It stands for "Sport" and Comfort", it changes the way the transmission shifts. Read a more detailed description below.

In C, the transmission starts from a stop in 2nd gear unless the kick down switch is activated (pedal to floor from standing start). The transmission will shift at lower RPM's. This is used for everyday driving. The S mode will cause the transmission to start in 1st gear regardless of pedal position and shift at higher rpm. This button has NO effect on suspension, Mercedes have separate suspension control switches.

I have a 1995 toyota camry and my electric attenna broke when going through the car wash as it dosn't go down when car is off and has to be done manually. I want to switch to a manual attenna and remove...

If you want to put a manual antenna in the same position, it is quite an easy job. The original one is held on to the body with a nut at the base of the aerial. Undo that and there is often a bolt holding the motor in place as well. Remove the power cable and disconnect the aerial lead. You can now pull the old unit out. The new one slips in using the same hole. Before you assemble it, make sure tha body around the hole is clean and rust free, or you will have poor reception. Reconnect the aerial lead and tighten the nut and the job is done.

Power Seat locks up

BAd motor .....Try to take ou tthe seat by removing the 4 bolts all the way around...Take it out and visually see if something is jammed in there and clean out the switch...Chances are the switch is bad or the motor is bad and cleaning it might fix it...Window switches on buicks do this same thing...GO up when u want down ect...They sell a electrical connection cleaner..I suggest you spray the switch and electrical connnections on motor..

Normally there is a big nut on the back side of the aerial. Or possibly several smaller ones, depending on the type of aerial.
To help route the wire back to the radio, attach a string or similar to the plug before you remove the old aerial, you then pull the string through with the old wire, and can use this to pull the new wire back into place.

Alternatively, get a wire coat hanger and jam it into the stump of the broken aerial. May not be pretty, but they work reasonably well.
