Most probably no gas or no spark. When u turn the key to the ON position, do u hear the fuel pump for 2 seconds? If u do, then u most probably have no spark. To test the spark, u go to an autoparts strore, buy a spark tester. Plug this to the No.1 cylinder ( its at the far end opposite of the tranny) plug wire (dont remove the sparkplug, just the wire). Find urself a good ground to plug the sparktester to and ask a friend to turn the engine over and check to see if u see a spark.
Hope this helps.

My plymouth breeze will not start. I have tried to jump start it and that did not work. I also checked the battery and it has plenty of charge. What could be wrong?

start with the fuel pump see if its working. get a mltimeter and chech the connections and make sure its getting juice. check the relay in the front of the car. by the pcm. check the camshaft sensor and the crank shaft sensor. if all else fails its the pcm...From expereince. One day was driving my 1997 plymouth breeze next day went to drive it and it didn't turn over there was no power to the car when you turn the ignition the ! light comes on what would be the problem?

Try checking the connection to the battery. If there is a good connection, try t o jump start the car. Did you leave a light on in the car? It may have drained the battery. If not your alternator may have gone bad. You can check this by using a voltage meter. If you check the voltage and it is higher than 12.5-12.8 your alternator is fine. Hope this helps!

1997 Plymouth Breeze blows 20amp ign./ starter fuse when starting

When this fuse blows on a consistent basis, the large majority of the time it is caused by an internal short in the starter motor solenoid. The fix is to replace the starter motor.
