You need to repair the heater core with a soldering gun.
If you do not have heat, or only have heat, IMHO it is most likey the AC/heater control unit. This is the part which has the AC/heat control buttons and knobs.
Easy Diagnosis: The easiest way to verify this is to turn on the radio, press and hold the power on/off button and press and hold the scan-up button for a second (full second). The word "A/C TEMP" should appear on the left of the display and a number from 0 to 16 on the right. I suspect yours will have the number 0 (or 16 if heating only problem) displayed no matter where you turn the temperature control knob. If this is the case you could turn the temp. knob to full heat and see if it goes to 16 after pushing down or to the right on the knob. In a working system, the number moves evenly in increments of 1, from 0 to 16 as you turn the temperature knob.
Easy Fix: I was able to take mine out and solder 3 loose connections to fix it.
The beginning steps are the same as for any radio removal procedure and check for loose connections.
with a dual climate control system, it is imperative for a proper refrigerant charge to be maintained. the symptom you describe is a possible indicator of low charge on the system. the ac evaporator core is closest to the right side of vehicle thereby making air feel cooler on that side, on the left side of the vehicle the cooled air has farther to travel and warms up from cabin air before it discharged from the vents. this is the most probable issue for your vehicle...however if the charge is accurate, the issue would be more so in the air temperature doors which is located deep inside the dash...i hope this helps...good luck!

Ignition ON Temperature selector Left Hi Right Low Within 20 seconds, press REST and EC simultaneously for more than 5 seconds The LED in the car flashes and the display di A Press auto repeatedly until all DTC's are shown. Record all DTC's Each malfunction (short circuit, open circuit, etc) has a specific DTC The letter "E" (error) is displayed in the left of the display and the DTC is displayed in the right of the display. By pressing the AUTO button the next DTC stored in memory will be displayed To erase, This is only possible after all DTC's are read out Simultaneously press both AUTO buttons for more than 2 seconds "d" will be displayed on the left side of the display window and "FF" on the right side The only problems that I can think of that will cause this problem are as follows; 006 right heater core temp 020 right duo valve I hop this helps. switch prolly not bad but you might wanna look into your heater control valve. valve not closing and letting the hot coolant fill your heat exchanger rather than recycling it back to the cooling system. The heat is over powering your a/c system and you're only getting a bit of cooling when you have the a/c on max. try it out
