My 07 GMC Canyon suddenly decided not to start...no proevious issues. It turns over fine and has fuel in the tank but does not act like it wants to fire or is getting fuel. Any suggestions?

it could be your fuel pump or maybe your batter is going? A few month a goes i had to struggle with my car to start it would take a while to turn over with me pushing on the gas to keep it alive until it turned over and it happened to just be the battery.

Keys locked in GMC Canyon (2007) Have another keyless remote. Can it be unlocked via cell phones

No, that is a joke/myth. Key fobs use radio frequency signals and a radio frequency cannot be conerted to an audio frequency and then back to a radio signal for the vehicle. Call a Pop-A-Lock or get busy with a slimjim.
