I have the same problem, did you figure out how to fix it without replacing the glove box?

I have the same problem. Dealer claims $1000 fix and that it is common. We should be compensated if this is a known manufacturer problem.

How do I replace the blend door?

The blend door is located right over the cabin air filter. If you cycle the selector control from max ac to outside air you can fee/see it moving (after you drop the glove box door).
The door is parallel to the glove box, and you should be able to see it opening and closing, it should close securely in both positions. Try adjusting the temperature selector knob to see if the door opens part way.
I believe that to change/repair the door you need to remove the heater box (MAJOR JOB involving removing both front seats and the entire dash crash pad, it will probably be a 8 to 10 hour job, because you have to drain the cooling system and disconnect the a/c lines and the heater hoses.
Sorry, but there is no easy way to do it (take it to a dealer unless you are really handy and have all the tools etc).

Open glove box this morning and it will not close. I do not want to break it by forcing it.

i dont have a picture of this but the latch may be stuck in the closed position. using a small screw driver open the glove box and lift the latch that opens it while still pulling out on the handle take your screw driver and pop open the latch from the inside of the door this should free it up and allow you to close it again. hope this helps

My 02 grand caravans heat/ac isnt working properly. the rear heat works on all fan speeds, but the front only works on high.

Replace the motor resistor-pack located behind the glove box. Open the glove box, then grasp the side parts of the lid and pull them together somewhat--this will release the lid and allow it to flop down (empty the box contents first). The resistor is mounted next to the blower motor and is held in place with one bolt. This is a common failure with these vans. Hope this helps!

Rick, Unfortunately, you aren't alone. This is a fairly common problem on the Audi. Price of the panel replacement is in line. Just get a warranty on the panel, in case its a sending unit problem instead of the panel.

2006 Hyundai Sonata 3.3 engine - cabin filter replacement

It should be the same general procedure as the 02. Open Glove box and remove contents. Remove glove box stops and or glove box shock on side. With the glove box swung out of the way remove the panel that covers the air filter. Remove and replace filter. Reinstall cover, and glove box stops.

2000 Toyota Corolla VE -- Glove Box Stuck

The most common cause is something inside the glove box jammed in the latch. Push glove box door release , and GENTLY insert a flat putty knife, plastic knife, or similar type tool in the groove of door, GENTLY try to pry open the door. U will probably (hopefully) find a napkin, map, or glove (does anybody actually put gloves in the glove box?) jammed in the inside latch. Let me know how u make out.
